Theres as much reliance on the luck of the draw as any TCG - the starter decks I played with didnt have too many abilities allowing players to draw extra cards, though there are definitely cards in The First Chapter with greater card draw effects - and it feels closely balanced to avoid players being steamrolled without good reason

Currently, outside the game means your sideboard and not your binder or that old box of cards in your parents basement (apparently, Wizards decided that having people flying to different states to resolve a card was a bad idea)

The game plan is to Synchro Summon pairs of Synchros to handle different situations rather than just 1 Synchro at a time
